Good Morning, Sweet Friends…
It’s been a while and I’ve missed you! Life has been full of lessons learned, prayers prayed, and goodness revealed lately. While the schedule looks a little different these days and the waiting and watching holds within it a new promise, I’ve been challenged to consider this question…
What stops Jesus in His tracks?
I’ve been contemplating this question a lot lately…in the busyness of our world, in the hustle and hurry, in the hate speech spread across the nation, I’ve been questioning…what stops Jesus in His tracks? In the study of His life, over and over again, it seems to be the simple acts of obedience in faith that cause Jesus to stop. To notice. To take that gently and lowly position and engage.
The adulterous woman, the woman at the well, the hemorrhaging woman, Mary…these women interacted with Jesus in moments when His gentle and lowly position held them, carried them, healed them and saw them…what beauty these women encountered as they sought the face of Jesus in obedience, and in turn, how He stopped to see them with intention and grace.
.
And so, I’m challenged this week to walk in those simple acts of obedience, watching for the gentle and lowly position of the Father as He protects and provides and stops to truly see me.
Career Adventures://
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that I recently closed the door on one chapter of my work life and courageously took the step into another….To Marshall Hospital Birth Center I am forever grateful…new friends that became good friends. Friends that gave me my foundation as a labor and delivery nurse. Friends that answered all my new grad questions, supported me when I felt overwhelmed and called to check in on me after a fetal demise. These women are just a few of the beautiful souls that have given me my start as a nurse and who have further instilled my passion for L&D nursing • I celebrate the memories at Marshall Birth Center over the past year and close that chapter to begin another at Sutter Sacramento, Labor and Delivery. So thankful to these incredible women for giving me my wings to fly!
I am enjoying a mini-retirement now 🙂 as I rest and refresh and prepare to start at Sutter L&D on November 1st. Excited for the learning ahead and so very thankful for God’s provision in this season…
Must-Haves://
*This Lounge Wear Set from Altered State looks so comfy cozy! It is definitely on my list for Christmas 🙂
*Young Living Essential Oil Highlight: GLF~ This oil has been a huge part of my detox and hormonal healing journey. This oil specifically supports the detoxification process by supporting your liver which is the organ that does the heavy lifting when it comes to detox and purification within our bodies. I rub 2-3 drops of this oil over my liver (upper right side) before bed and have noticed a difference in my sleep, skin clarity, and GI regulation. Love this stuff!

Love on your people & keep in perspective your beautiful legacy in light of eternity.…
Love and Blessings,
Lindsey xoxo
Excited for this next journey for you!!
