The Weekly.

Hi Lovely…

I’ve missed you. I’ve missed taking the time to let growth sync in long enough for me to be able to type these words out, expressing the messy and the beautiful. So here I am…having had a week off of roles and expectations…here I am with these words of growth and learning from some of my favorites and some adventure along the way…

Fasting is a practice making you more holy and leading to greater union with God.

Fasting is withholding a surface level desire for some time to live in concert with a deeper desire.

Fasting reveals what controls us. It’s about a reordering of our desires that we might draw near to God and His heart for us.

-John Mark Comer

How do I live today for who I am becoming and not what I am accomplishing…this is the core question to human joy.

We all tend to live our resumes louder than our eulogies.

I cannot plan and execute my way into transformation.

Be careful when you notice so much formation but no joy. Because maybe then you’ve missed the point entirely.

-Tyler Stanton

Our view of ourselves is the best indicator of how we view God.

We’re hardwired for heartfelt obedience.

Pleasing is not a means to our godliness.

-John Lynch | Bruce McNicol | Bill Thrall
