Good Morning, Friend!
I hope this past week for you was filled with thanks giving and the celebration of such with good food, friends and family! I had the pleasure of journeying home and enjoyed the beauty of California, fun family time and great celebration. We had lots of laughs, shared in many a hugs and embraced the beauty of the present. So thankful to call these beautiful people my family….
Academics & Adventures:
*Final week of Nursing School….ah! Friends, can you believe it?! In many ways this past 15 months has gone by so quickly and in other ways it has seemed to drag on. But here we are, at the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I am thankful to each and every individual and experience that God has put into my life to help shape this experience for me. I am being given the opportunity to live my dream and I don’t take that gift for granted. Although I’m unsure of what the next season holds, I am choosing to remember where I’ve been…remember where God’s taken me and how He’s provided. Trusting that in this waiting and transition period, God will lead and guide my heart and help me cherish this time in between.
*On Thursday, I graduate from my nursing program and will officially hold my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. My boards exam comes a few days to weeks after that and then a job. The job search is in full swing right now….sending my application here and there and everywhere and clinging to HOPE, praying that someone takes interest in my experiences, my passions, and my hopes for the future!
Must-Haves:
*Sherpa-Lined Cardigan… all the cozy goodness that you’ll need this winter!
*This Turtleneck Sweater is inexpensive and great for those cozy days at home, baking and watching Hallmark Movies!
Goals for the Week:
*Be present. In seasons where change is anticipated and the outcome is unknown and the present is full of excitement and wonder….in those moments, I sometimes forget to breathe deeply and embrace the present. So this week, with the excitement of graduation, with the closing of this thing that I’ve been pursuing for practically half of my life, with the questioning and wonder of what’s to come….I want to soak up every moment, being fully present and enjoying this season of celebration without carrying the worry of tomorrow’s change. Lord, let my heart be fully present in the gift of today and let me hand over my expectations for tomorrow to You.
In whatever season you’re in, praying for you, that in the busy of it all, that you would be able to silence the hurry and be present to experience the gift of each day.
