Good Morning, Friend…

In this space, I’ve been learning a lot about transition & grief & loss and what it looks like to process through these things…these things that mark our lives over and over again, these things that remind us of our frailty as human beings, these things that show us the purpose of pain, and these things that leave us with defining moments in life.

These places in life where we have the choice and potential to move from part to whole….from comparison and criticism to compassion and care….from begrudging to grace-filled….from weary to worshipping. It’s in these moments where feeling stuck may feel like a burden, but it’s actually a threshold, because the greater capacity that we have for GRIEF, the greater capacity we have for JOY!

SO, in this space of disordered routines, unraveled expectations, damaged dreams, and an uncertain future…I will CHOOSE to embrace this stuckness as a threshold for my transition. How About You? How will this season and this space in life define your legacy?

Some wise words to carry with you in the process of your pain, transition, and loss in this space….

Being a good steward of your pain. . . . It involves being alive to your life. It involves taking the risk of being open, of reaching out, of keeping in touch with the pain as well as the joy of what happens because at no time more than at a painful time do we live out of the depths of who we are instead of out of the shallows.

Career Beginnings & Life Adventures:

*NewGradNewHope– This is my belief, that God is using my story as a new grad in search of a career start in the middle of a pandemic to bring Him greater glory and to reveal His ultimate authority. Someday, I will see this waiting and watching, this sideline battle as a gift that strengthened me to bring HOPE to a weary world.

*Some huge life transitions faced my family and I this week…exciting things, things we’ve prayed about for years and sought healing in, but things you would never expect to come during a pandemic…but our God seems to work in that way. Unlikely victories at unlikely times…more details to come on this journey, so stay tuned!

Must-Haves:

*Young Living Gear….the perfectly pink versatile backpack!

*This Song…it’s a must listen and has been on repeat around here!
