The Weekly.

Good Morning Lovely~

me6
As you soak in the sun, just a few words for you today as we begin another week….

less judgement. more mercy.

elevate the royal law: love your neighbor as yourself.

be committed to developing character, not chaos.

Go slow enough today to be moved with compassion: “When [Jesus] saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion.” Matthew 9:36

Criticism can be knee-jerk & quick & jump to conclusions.
Compassion is heartfelt & slow & lingers to really listen.

Criticism kills community.
Compassion creates community.

Criticism can be a care-less reaction.
Compassion is a care-full response.

Criticism makes you more like a judge.
Compassion makes you more like Jesus.

Today — only move with compassion.

Career Beginnings & Life Adventures:

*This week has held a lot…a lot for the world, a lot for my little life. Just trying to stay grateful and keep my eyes on Jesus, my hope and my first love.

.

This week I was presented with an opportunity to accept a RN job opportunity with a crisis relief program, supporting the opening of COVID-19 testing sites in rural areas. The position is very temporary, but I have enjoyed my time so far…getting to partner with an organization that provides so much support to hurting people in rural areas. Learning the art of smiling behind a mask, of speaking compassion with my eyes, of not letting fear of COVID-19 and exposure of such inhibit me from fully embracing the care of kindness.

Must-Haves:

*Mirah Hair Oil …this goodness is in my monthly order and I can’t wait to get it and start using on my frizzy hair! This stuff is liquid gold when it comes to smoothing out frizzy hair and creating a smooth and silky finish!

*These hair ties… because they are just the best!
