Hello Friends & Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving, spent with friends and family around good food and good fellowship. I had a wonderful weekend spent with family (post on that to come!) by the ocean, where we laughed, loved and let our souls find true rest.

Academics://

*Finished my self-reflection assignment for this term looking back on my original statements of what I defined the role of a nurse to be. In just 10 weeks I was amazed at the growth and development that I showed in my definition of such. In week 1, my description of a nurse was based on mere definition and text-book knowledge…however my week 10 description of a nurse reflected experience, world-vision, and perspective.

*Study, study, study….prepping for 4 cumulative finals!

For When I Have A Nurse’s Salary://

*These nursing clogs are darling…they have a bow on them!!

*These slippers…so comfy and cozy! Perfect for these holiday days spent with friends and family, cozied around glistening lights and the smell of spruce.

Goals for the Week://

*Keep my calm in the midst of preparing for finals next week

*Go to the gym at least 3 days this week for a yoga class

*Attend the tree lighting ceremony in Lake Oswego and enjoy a moment of Christmas splendor

*Look for God’s cultivation of beauty around me
