The Weekly.

Friends- Happy Monday! Week 9 of the term is here and it comes with the expectation of many study sessions, late nights, early mornings, and the need for lots of Jesus and calming essential oils, all in preparation for finals coming up!

Feeling a bit like what is captured in this photo right now, but standing in the truth of the verse that says….”She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

Academics:

*Clinicals were cancelled this past week due to the snow…so this happened instead 🙂

*If you read my post on Friday, you know that this week brought a reminder of where God has taken me on this journey to nursing school. I was blessed to see all the 2019 undergraduate nursing interviewees at the School of Nursing this week and it was inspiring to see their enthusiasm for the future. I was reminded of that enthusiasm that once embodied me so strongly and I was encouraged to grab hold of that now, to not grow weary in doing good, and to remember the big picture- the dream of becoming a nurse and letting my calling and my career collide!

Must-Haves:

*Content and thankful….!

 Goals for the Week:

Goals from Last Week: Passion Project goals are in the making…check back later in the month to see this month’s project unfold! And I was so glad to have some opportunities to have intentional conversations this week. These brought meaning and purpose to some interactions that I engaged in. These interactions brought gratitude to my heart for the many wonderful relationships that surround my life. And although I didn’t get time to engage in personal creative expression through music, I did reach out to the worship pastor at my new church and asked about what opportunities there might be to get involved in the worship ministry there. Walking forward in excitement to see what God will do with that, but also a level of fear and trembling, as engaging in a church the past few years has been difficult for me to step into.

Goals for this Week:

*Press on! Finals are coming and I am feeling the heavy load of it all…feeling the anxiety trying to creep in…the doubts that tell me I am not enough…the fear that tells me I won’t make it through…

BUT GOD!

Trusting that He is more powerful to conquer these fears and lies that I might be facing and praying that you know the same is true for YOU! No matter what fears, doubts, or lies you may face this week, if you are in Christ, you are no slave to those things. Let His grace cover you and walk in His strength!

Blessings,

 Lindsey
